Oh my god, I love this! I just finished reading Mrs. Dalloway for school, and it was just spectacular, now one of my favorite books! I love how you capture the two of them subtly intruding on the life of the other through the sound of the clock and Clarissa's flowers and Septimus' papers falling into the space of the painting reserved for the other.
